Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day Party

Cousin Landon invited Parker to his first Valentine's Day party.   Auntie Katie did an amazing job orgainzing the party, there was cookie decorating, mail box making, Valentine's cards exchanged and lots of playing!

During the party Parker started using a straw and tried apple juice!

Parker I am so proud to be your mommy! From the moment we knew you were coming, I couldn't wait to hold you for the very first time. I imagined you growing and waiting to see us too. I feel so fortunate that I got to hold you close in the quiet hours of many mornings, feeding you and praying for you to become strong and healthy. I am so lucky that I was able to look back into your brand new face while you were awake and discovering your new world. Just watching you take it all in gives me joy. Your sweet ways and big smiles make strangers smile everywhere we go. You are so small yet you bring with you such big joy! I love you.

A TOOTH!

  Two weeks ago Parker sprouted his first little tooth.  I had been waiting to post the big news, hoping I could get a picture but that is not as easy as it sounds. So you will just have to take my word for it. ;-)    He loves putting just about everything in his mouth and especially enjoys the teething cookies. 

Here is a recent video of him chomping away, laughing and blowing some raspberries - action packed 47 seconds. Sorry about my commentary in the background -- how embarrassing for me:

As of this week Parker is also able to sit all by himself and play with his toys!
