9 Months

Age: 9 Months.
Size and Shape: Parker is getting big! His face is filling out and he seems much taller, we will get official stats next week at our doctors appointment. We made the change to size 4 diapers and the 6/9 clothes are being packed away.

Sleep:  We start getting Parker ready for bed around 7:30, after a 8oz bottle he is normally asleep for the night.  He is a side and belly sleeper, and we find him frequently with this little butt up in the air.  We cover him with his blanket from Mrs. Parker and make sure he has a few pacifiers surrounding him.  Normally he will sleep around 10- 12 hours.  He takes 2-3 naps during the day, they range from a half hour to almost 2 hours.  This month  we also had to switch to overnight diapers -- and he still wakes up all wet (gross!).

Eat:  Oh this eating thing...     Well I got a bit braver this month and he has tried a few new things: Rice cakes, Cheerios, bananas animal crackers, spinach, lima beans, English muffins, spinach...  Still drinking 4-5, 6-8oz bottles daily (Similac Sensitive formula mixed with the Up&Up Enfimal formula).

Getting Around: He is a roller and a backwards crawler.

Memorable Moments: Being able to play outside in his swing and at Grammy's and Grandpa's in their sandbox! Since Parker found his hands enjoys just checking them out (Auntie Katie loves this).  He is really working on waving, but doesn't do it when we ask.   Ma Ma Ma is one of his favorite sounds and Daddy comes running when ever he hears da da da ;-)   Lot's of smiling and giggling.   Although he doesn't watch too much TV, he does enjoy it.  We have two Sesame Beginning DVDs that he really likes.
