Happy Veteran's Day

Happy Veteran's Day!
We enjoyed the Veteran's Day parade again this year and Grammy (a proud veteran!) came along:

A Snack With Lucy

Parker and Lucy enjoyed a morning snack together last week. Lucy shared her food, which Parker took full advantage of by dipping his banana in, yum.  :-)

Playing in the Leaves -- Video

We debated whether or not to add this video to youtube, but figured that some of you may enjoy it (the file was too big for the blog).  Marc and Parker played outside in the leaves for the first time and Parker clearly loved it!

16 Months

Computer issues, work and a crazy kid have been keeping me from updating the blog.   I know some of you (Yia Yia!) who look daily, and I apologize for the delay.

At the beginning of October we brought Lucy and Parker to Massabesic Lake:

A few weeks later we took a trip to the Apple Orchards with the Discordia Family and Yia Yia and Papou.

The Discorida Family!

Parker had his 16 month well child visit on October 26.
Weight: 23lb (30%)

Height: 30.75 (40%)
Size and Shape: Size 18 months is fitting in length but is a little 'roomy', we picked up some shoes and Parker is a size 5.
Sleep: Parker is still a good sleeper for us. He goes down easily after a few books (around 7pm) and is up in the morning between 6am - 7am.   He listens to "Scout" as we read and usually turns on his aquarium once we lay him down.  His favorite books are Bubbles Bubbles Everywhere,  Peek a boo, and the Thank you Prayer.
Eat:  Although you wouldn't know it by his weight, Parker loves to eat! He starts most mornings with a Waffle and then heads to daycare for breakfast number two.  He enjoys yogurt, orange juice, mandarin orange slices, fig newtons, chicken tenders and is willing to try anything that mommy and daddy have on their plates.
Getting Around: Someday soon I will post and say... "We have a Walker" .... but for now, we have a walker/crawler.  He does walk, like Frankenstein actually, but he still crawls about 70% of the time.  The doctor is not concerned, thankfully.   He is still a master climber..  awesome.  Ha.
Memorable Moments:  Watching Parker take his first steps is certainly high on our memorable moments list this month.  His vocabulary is improving as well:  Mommy, Dad da, wiggle, more, thank you, meow, no way, no no no, down, uh oh.  He knows where his head, nose, and belly are.

This was the first time that Parker was 'big enough' to use the kids room at the doctors...  it was just too cute not to take a picture of!

Landon invited Parker to his school for a Halloween party:

A snowstorm in October...   enough said!
