Parker and I made the trek to CT to visit a few friends, it was a long ride but totally worth it!

Six Month Stats

On January 18th Parker had his 6-month doctor appointment.  He is growing like a champ and now weighs 17 lbs 2 oz  (40% percentile) and is 27 inches long (70% percentile).

Winter arrived..

 We finally got a little snow here!

Marc got a chance to use his 'new to him' snow blower.

And Parker got to take a ride in Landon's sled...

and he happily tried out his new wagon.

Parker is almost 6 months, it just blows my mind how fast time is going by.  I had been warned that this would happen, but  there was just no way to prepare for it.  I love that he is growing, but find myself rocking him a little longer these days... just holding on while I still can.  He is now rolling all over the place, and is sitting on his own frequently. His diet still consists of mostly formula, but he LOVES his oatmeal!  He has tried sweet peas, green beans, pears and prunes.  He enjoys all, expect for the prunes (who can blame him!).  He is still a pretty serious kid, but finds a lot to smile about, thankfully.

Merry Christmas!

Parker had a great Christmas! 

On Christmas Eve we went to church, it was a beautiful children's service and Parker slept through the majority of it.  Rachel and Jacob were there to provide some of the entertainment.

After a good snooze we headed over to Grammy and Grandpa's to start our Christmas fun!!

We also visited with the Pantazis family next door at Auntie Mary Ellen's and Uncle Chris's house.

Christmas Day

Christmas morning was so much more exciting with Parker!  We woke up and opened the presents from Santa.  Obviously Parker has been a very good boy this year, so Santa brought him lots of toys!

 After opening presents at our house we went over to Grammy and Grandpa's to celebrate Christmas morning with them.

Parker was stretching -- getting ready for a busy day!



Landon helped to keep Parker hydrated during the present opening.



 After Grammy and Grandpa's we went over to Yia-ya and Papau's house to celebrate with them.
