Ten Months

Ten months?!?!  I can't even get the words out of my mouth when people ask how old Parker is!!  He has officially been outside of the world longer then he was inside.  You would think that we would be used to this little boy by now, but I still find myself thinking -- he is MINE/OURS?!  It is my hope to print this blog out and add it to his baby book, so Parker if/when you read this: I just want you to know that these past ten months have been the greatest EVER!!  Mommy and Daddy love you more then anything and our lives are so much better because of you.  Mommy has been very lucky to spend the first ten months home with you and although it was tougher then working (at times) I have TREASURED every moment.  I love coming into your room when you wake up in the morning and seeing your beautiful smile.  I love sitting on the couch with you feeding you your morning bottle while we watch Good Morning America (and Sesame during the commercials).  Our days are filled with playing, chatting, listening to lots of music, rides in your wagon, visiting with Grandpa and Landon, a little shopping, and just enjoying each other's company.  When you nap I can't help but watch you in the video monitor, you are precious.   You started crawling this month and you love it!  You can't help but screech and laugh as you crawl around the house, it is very funny.  You make a lot of different noises these days, Daddy and I get a good laugh out of the lions' ROAR sound you make frequently (I think you may have learned this from Landon).  Daddy says you sound like the little girl from the Exorcist -- I don't think you are that scary!   Lucy is adjusting to having you mobile and you love getting your little hands on her whenever you can.  :-)   Grandpa says your brave and I would have to agree.  You are also very sweet and already know how to give tight hugs (just like your daddy).   We love you Parker!

Age: 10 Months.
Size and Shape: Size 12 month clothes are pretty much all he wears.  He is average in both height and weight and seems to be proportioned well.
Sleep: No changes since 9 months.  He is still sleeping through the night!
Eat: We tried multi grain Eggo's and Parker is a big fan! He also had a little bit of ice cream (thanks Auntie Katie), a green Popsicle (thanks again Auntie Katie), goldfish, lentils...   lots of new stuff ;-)
Getting Around: We have a fast moving crawler.  Everyday he goes right for Lucy's food dish...  I believe that this month we will add dog food to the eat category.
Memorable Moments: Learning to crawl and starting daycare.  Daycare has gone much better then we expected and he really enjoys all the other children.
