Update time!

Age: 20 months


Size and Shape: Size 24 months fits just about perfectly, tops and bottoms. Shoes – size 6.  Lots of teeth!

Sleep: We thankfully still have a great sleeper! Down between 7-7:30pm, up in the morning between 6:30-7am. One nap during the day, a few hours long. Bedtime routine has stayed about the same… He still has his pacifier and his blankie. No sign of climbing out of the crib yet, thankfully. Marc and I still get a kick out of watching him on the video monitor – he usually takes a little while to settle down so we watch and listen to him talk, play peek-a-boo with his blankie, and even play air guitar. It’s very entertaining.

Eat: Parker eats just about anything (depending on the day). Every morning he enjoys warm chocolate milk “chocmilk” (as he calls it). He has a fit if the milk is not warm, but does not enjoy waiting for the microwave to heat for 1 minute (he screams every-single-morning – it’s a really nice way to start the morning… LOL).

Getting Around: Walking, running, hopping (and a funny kind of jumping) --- the boy can do it all!

Toys/Shows/Movies: Favorite toys include: Woody (cowboy from Toy Story), Parker calls him boy - and the Horse from Toy Story as well. I love that Parker has a fondness for these two toys, as he and Grandpa used to play with them frequently. He also loves his race cars! We just received the Disney movie “Cars” (Parker’s first movie) and he loves it and wants to watch it first thing in the morning and at the end of the day as well. This is also the first show that Parker will snuggle up on the couch (preferably with me or Marc) and watch (we all love this!). Parker still has a deep love for the Wiggles, but it appears that we may be ‘moving-on’.

Memorable Moments: Parker loves to dance, play the air guitar, play the drums, throw the ball around, be chased by mommy and daddy, playing in the yard, playing at the playground, kick the doors (loud), march, lounge on mommy and daddy’s bed, play with the Kindle… more or less – he just enjoys being a pretty happy 22 month old. He is a polite kid, saying ‘please’ (with the cutes little lisp) and thank you.
